sf-sh-review-mina74-2-jpg-20140213Miami Beach, known for its beaches, entertainment options and eclectic residents, also offers some of the world’s leading chefs and restaurants. While new dinning options continue to pop up in the finest South Beach hotels, other restaurants have been operating independently for years. To give you some ideas for dining options, we have compiled five trendy restaurants worth sampling on the beach.

Pubelly is Miami’s very first Asian inspired gastropub and it’s the creation of Andreas Schreiner, Jose Mendin, and Sergio Navarro. This place is constantly packed with a location in the west end of Miami Beach and it’s known for being very creative, fun experience. The menu changes daily but always includes ramen and udon, a raw bar, dumplings with fillins like short rib and corn or pastrami and sauerkraut, and a wide variety of small plates for sharing, like fried chicken, BBQ pork wings and grilled octopus.

Prime 112, is also an extremely well known steakhouse from the renowned chef, Myles Chefetz and is one of the main attractions of Miami Beach. The steaks here range from an 8-ounce filet mignon to a 48-ounce porterhouse that’s served with a selection of sauces and butters and are dry aged for up to a month.

Another great selection is J&G Grill which is the brain child of Jean-Georges Vongerichten and chef Brad Kilgore, who serves his take on global cuisine in a bright large dining room that overlooks the ocean.

Also, there is Michael Mina 74, which is located in Fountainebleau  and is a high-end bistro that not only has some of the city’s best cocktails which include barrel-aged cocktails and punches, it is also where you can find the freshest seafood, fresh-caught daily on the hotel’s private boat.

Additionally, nationally recognized, Chef Jose Andres experiments with Spanish cuisine at the Bazaar, located in South Beach’s SLS Hotel. The menu at the Bazaar is a mixture of classic cuisines meeting modern creations, including Singaporean street food, to smoked oysters to Cuban-inspired coffee-rubbed churasco.

Miami Beach offers quite a unique dinning selection that combines the best tastes and chefs from all over the world. We hope that we have given you a few ideas on where to enjoy the best Miami Beach cuisine.
