Miami Beach Offers Fun for Families
December 18, 2014Among other things, Miami Beach is known for it’s fun nightlife and entertainment options, however Miami Beach also offers plenty of family friendly options as well.
In fact, where South Beach ends is where an interconnected chain of barrier islands begins and on the Atlantic side, where sandy beaches go northward with a backdrop of palm trees, is the part of Miami Beach where families like to stay and play in one of Miami’s many resorts that over look the ocean.
From 41st to 62nd Street, is a strip known as Millionaire’s Row and the further north you go you can find Normandy Isles and North Beach, the historically Jewish neighborhood of Surfside, and the famous Bal Harbor. This part of Miami Beach has a very family oriented feel to it and many hotels can be found right on the sand. This area also offers plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy. Locals really enjoy the North Shore Open Space Park Beach which goes from Collins Avenue from 78th Street to 87th Terrace and contains a beach with a tropical and natural vibe with palm trees and other trees that surround the area. The park offers bike paths, natural trails, picnic tables, and grills.
Other options for fun besides the beach can be found at the Scott Rakow Youth Center on Sheridan Avenue for bowling. Saturdays and Sundays at this place are family day with one round of bowling for a discounted price. Also, the center has a swimming pool, fitness center, game room, and an ice skating rink.
These are just a few suggestions for family fun at Miami Beach. If you would like to learn more information on Miami Beach Homes for Sale, contact Matt Crane at (786)571-5983.
